Qualifications

• Completion of the Texas Fire Chiefs Academy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead firefighter health and safety programs and best practices.
• Oversee training, recruitment, and promotional processes.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with TCFP, DSHS, TEXFIRS, ISO.
• Coordinate emergency management and NIMS compliance.
• Prepare reports, budgets, and department goals.
• Direct department operations and supervise personnel.
