The City of Otsego is seeking a senior financial operations leader to oversee daily Finance Department activities and act as Assistant Chief Financial Officer. Jobbeschreibung

This is a new position for the City of Otsego to further support the Finance Department and increase financial reporting, communications, and supervisory oversight.

Manages the daily operations of the Finance Department including serving as the Assistant Chief Financial Officer of the City. Responsible for performing essential accounting functions, including, but not limited to: bank reconciliations, cash and investment management, budget development and monitoring, financial reporting, risk management and additional duties as assigned by the Finance Director.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Three (3) years of experience in a governmental accounting or finance related position

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in a supervisory position
• Previous experience with Caselle (Civic Systems)
• Previous experience with governmental economic development or city/county management
