Job Overview:
The Assistant Field Operations Manager oversees all aspects of operations within the field office and clinics, leading effective operations through Leadership Competencies.
- Manage all field office operational issues, including administrative, facilities, and inventory
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, disciplining, and evaluating staff
- Manage office and clinics as directed
- Build and maintain relationships with host location staff and animal outreach groups
- Communicate regularly with the Field Operations Manager to ensure service consistency and operational adherence
- Collaborate on business opportunities with partner locations
- Live our competencies and reinforce our brand promise with partners, pet parents, and team members
- Communicate marketing programs and ensure marketing materials are printed and used
- Travel to community clinics and other locations as needed to support business growth
- Support and participate in clinics during weeknights and weekends, including work on rigs
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Safe driving record
- Basic HR principles
- Basic accounting and math skills
- Operations management experience with best practices
- Knowledge of customer service principles
- Comfort working with pets of all sizes and temperaments, including handling and lifting animals
- Ability to drive in various terrains and weather conditions
- Ability to work prolonged periods in the field, including 12-14 hour days
- Availability for weekends, occasional overnight, and holiday work
- Outdoor clinic activities may be required
- Ability to travel up to 20%
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Post-secondary degree in business, management, or operations preferred but not required

- Ability to perform essential job functions safely and effectively, meeting productivity standards
- Maintain regular, punctual attendance
- Lift up to 150 pounds assisted and 50 pounds unassisted
