The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services- Oklahoma Forensic Center in Vinita, OK seeks an Assistant Facility Administrator to lead professional staff and coordinate major divisions within the agency’s operations.

Come grow with us! The Oklahoma Forensic Center (OFC) located in Vinita, OK is a 24 hour/365 day secure inpatient forensic facility that provides jail competency services for the State of Oklahoma. Currently, OFC has 268 beds for consumers who have been found incompetent for adjudication or adjudicated as Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity.
The incumbent in this position will be assigned responsibilities involving the direction or management of professional level staff, assisting in directing major multifunctional divisions, or overall responsibility for major division activities involving the principle operations of the agency.
Education and Experience requirements at this level consists of a bachelor’s degree and five years of professional business or public administration experience, including two years in a supervisory or administrative capacity; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of professional or technical administrative experience in business or public administration for each year of the required education. Note: No substitution will be allowed for the required professional experience in a supervisory or administrative capacity.
