Job summary

Uline is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager at the Wisconsin Distribution Center in Pleasant Prairie. You will oversee multiple teams, ensuring inspections, maintenance, and readiness of facilities that employees rely on daily.

The role requires hands-on leadership with after-hours on-call responsibilities and close collaboration with vendors to manage maintenance and safety across the campus.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising maintenance, security, grounds and custodial teams.
• Ability to assign tasks across carpentry, electrical, HVAC and related trades.
• Strong recordkeeping for work orders, staffing and audits.

Set the standard for facilities excellence. As Assistant Facilities Manager at Uline's Pleasant Prairie Distribution Center, you’ll oversee several teams with a hands‑on approach to inspections and maintenance, ensuring the facility is one employees are proud to work in.

Hours:

Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM with some evenings and weekends.

Position Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of teams including maintenance, security, grounds and custodial workers.
• Assign duties in carpentry, electrical, painting, plumbing, HVAC, roofing and security.
• Routinely inspect buildings, sites and equipment for needed repair and respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.
• Work with vendors and oversee execution of contracted services.
• Maintain records and prepare reports for management review, including work orders, staffing reports and audits.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of management or leadership experience.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP), landscaping, HVAC and electrical systems.
• Assist with maintenance work.
• Available for after-hours and weekend on-call services as needed.
