Job summary

Uline's Wisconsin Distribution Center in Pleasant Prairie, WI is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to lead maintenance, security, and custodial teams on-site. The role focuses on inspections, repairs, and coordinating contracted services to keep the facility safe and efficient.

You will oversee carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related systems, with after-hours and weekend on-call requirements. A background in facilities leadership and MEP experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of management or leadership experience.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP), landscaping, HVAC and electrical systems.
• Assist with maintenance work.
• Available for after-hours and weekend on-call services as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of teams including maintenance, security, grounds and custodial workers.
• Assign duties in carpentry, electrical, painting, plumbing, HVAC, roofing and security.
• Routinely inspect buildings, sites and equipment for needed repair and respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.
• Work with vendors and oversee execution of contracted services.
• Maintain records and prepare reports for management review, including work orders, staffing reports and audits.

Hours:

Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM with some evenings and weekends.

Position Responsibilities
