Urbana Country Club is seeking a dynamic Assistant in Training or Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to lead the front-of-house team and elevate member dining experiences. You will work with the F&B Management Team and Executive Chef to coordinate service operations, guest relations, and a welcoming atmosphere.

The role emphasizes leadership, staff development, budgeting awareness, and ensuring high standards across casual and fine dining events.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Food & Beverage operation in a Restaurant or Country Club atmosphere.
• Food Handler's Certificate required
• ServSafe Certification preferred
• 2 years of previous Food & Beverage experience

Responsibilities

• Lead the Front-of-House Team to deliver impeccable service and a memorable guest experience.
• Monitor and manage weekly employee schedules and payroll records.
• Recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training for FOH staff.
• Provide feedback and lead performance reviews during probation and yearly cycles.
• Uphold safety programs and compliance with laws and liquor control requirements.
