Springhill Suites Denver Downtown and Degree Brewpub, operated by Sage Hospitality Group, is seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager. This role leads front-of-house operations for restaurant, banquets and catering, with a focus on breakfast service and events, while maintaining guest satisfaction and brand standards.

The position offers a base salary of $58,000 plus service-charge commissions, with perks and a teaching-hospitality partnership with MSU Denver that supports staff development.

Qualifications

• More than two years of post high school education.
• Excellent comprehension for assisting with guest and associate matters.
• Working knowledge of basic banquet and meeting A/V setups; troubleshoot events.
• Vision for seating guests, expediting food, reading floor plans and schedules.
• Excellent oral communication with guests and associates; communicate policies.
• Knowledge of chemicals/agents for training purposes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Food & Beverage team with engagement and accountability.
• Provide front-of-house leadership across restaurant, Banquets & Catering, and Breakfast.
• Oversee banquet, catering and breakfast operations and event execution.
• Coach, train and give real-time feedback to associates.
• Engage with guests/clients, solicit feedback and ensure service recovery.
