Suburban Inns is seeking an Assistant Executive Housekeeper for a Hilton Garden Inn property in Grand Rapids, MI. The role oversees housekeeping and laundry operations, supporting the Executive Housekeeper and stepping in during absences to ensure guest satisfaction.

The position emphasizes training, scheduling, and maintaining brand standards while coordinating with front desk, maintenance, and other departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum Knowledge: ability to interpret/extract information and perform arithmetic functions.
• Formal Education and Job-Related Experience: minimum of six months job-related experience.
• License, Training, and/or Certification Required: Hazcom Training, Bloodborne Pathogen Training.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly, positive manner and connect with them.
• Train Housekeepers and Laundry Team Members as required.
• Ensure housekeeping standards are met and assist when EH is unavailable.
• Print daily task sheets, assign to team, and manage late checkouts.
• Communicate with front desk to coordinate early/late outs.
