Job summary

COREcruitment is seeking an Assistant Executive Housekeeper at a luxury property in Washington, VA to support the Executive Housekeeper and oversee daily housekeeping operations.

This leadership role offers a path toward the Executive Housekeeper position, with responsibilities spanning guest room and public area standards, scheduling, budgeting and staff development while maintaining Forbes Five-Star level service.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of progressive housekeeping experience, including management/supervisory experience.
• Experience leading and developing a housekeeping team.
• Strong understanding of luxury hotel housekeeping standards.
• Experience with labor management, budgeting and inventory control.
• Highly organized, hands-on and detail-oriented.
• Luxury, Forbes Five-Star, AAA Five-Diamond or comparable experience preferred.

• Lead and develop a housekeeping team of 10+ employees.
• Oversee guest room and public area cleanliness and luxury service standards.
• Manage scheduling, labor costs, budgets, inventory and purchasing.
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure consistent quality standards.
