Job summary

Village Shores is seeking an Assistant Executive Director to lead and support operations in a senior living community in Richfield, MN. You will engage with residents, families, staff and regulators while driving service excellence and operational efficiency.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, an Assisted Living Director license (LALD) in current or pending status, and 3 years of supervisory experience in housing or health-related services, plus 2 years in director-level capacity within

Responsibilities

• Engage with residents, families, staff, and regulators to provide exceptional service.
• Lead problem-solving and adapt to new software and workflows.
• Demonstrate leadership across job functions and departmental duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
• Assist the Executive Director with budgeting, customer service, HR, resident services, quality improvement, and regulatory standards.

What You'll Do:

• Be involved and interact effectively with people (residents, families, visitors, staff, vendors, community services, and regulators)
• Problem-solve and work collaboratively. Computer proficient and adapt to new software quickly
• Demonstrate leadership skills necessary to perform the job functions and responsibilities
• Department responsibilities for specific areas as designated by the Executive Director
• Assist the Executive Director in budgeting, customer services, human resources, resident services, quality improvementand regulatory/industry standards

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Housing, Healthcare, or a related field.
• Assisted Living Director license (LALD), current orin process
• 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in housing, service, or health-related industry
• 2 years in Director-level capacity in one of the services provided in a senior living community
