Job summary

Praxis Title & Escrow of Texas LLC is hiring a Commercial Escrow Assistant for our Dallas-Fort Worth team. This role supports commercial real estate closings exclusively—no residential.

You will collaborate with attorneys, title agents, escrow officers, and staff to ensure accuracy, timely closings, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of commercial escrow experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple files through complex transactions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience at a title agency, underwriter, or law firm with a commercial practice.
• Detail-driven, comfortable supporting multiple title agents and escrow officers as workload shifts.
• Self-starter who takes initiative, adapts quickly, and thinks proactively while still following established procedures and timelines.
• Qualia experience strongly preferred; proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Claude/AI tools a plus.
• Exposure to multi-state portfolio transactions a plus, including lines of credit, construction loans, sale-leasebacks, forward funding, bridge debt, and mezzanine financing.
• Hybrid work structure, based in our Southlake office.

Responsibilities

• Manage and close sophisticated commercial transactions, including land, retail, office, industrial, and multi-property portfolio deals.
• Work closely with attorneys, title agents, escrow officers, and support staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the escrow process.
• Review and interpret commercial contracts to establish timelines, tasks, and process new orders.
• Prepare and review closing documents, process post-closing documentation.
• Ensure all escrow funds are properly received, safeguarded, reconciled, and disbursed in compliance with Company policies and applicable regulations.
• Maintain accountability for escrow files, records, and retention systems.
