McFarland Johnson in NH/ME is seeking an Assistant Engineer for Bridge Engineering to join our Transportation Division in Portland, ME, Concord and Portsmouth, NH. You will work with a team to develop designs for public highway structure projects and prepare construction specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
• EIT preferred.
• 0-4 years of highway structure engineering analysis and design experience.
• Project experience with State DOT's preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 software such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Bentley OpenRoads Designer preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively participate as part of a project team.
