Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesWork is performed primarily in a general office environment, approximately 95% of the time. The role is generally sedentary but may involve occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds, as needed. Office conditions include adequate lighting and temperature, with no hazardous or unpleasant conditions related to noise, dust, or similar factors. Occasional field work may be required for inspections of transportation structures, including bridges, retaining walls, and culverts, where conditions may include heat or cold, wet or humid weather, and dry or arid environments.
