Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Storekeeper to support receipt, storage and checking of spare parts and materials aboard our vessels. You will use AMOS for orders, labeling, and inventory control under the guidance of the Engine Storekeeper.
The role requires accuracy, teamwork in a multi-cultural environment, and the ability to adapt to complex schedules while maintaining safety and compliance with SMS policies.
The Assistant Storekeeper is responsible for supporting the receipt, storage and checking of ship's spare parts and materials using NCL's inventory system (AMOS) as directed by the Engine Storekeeper. In order to consistently exceed guest expectations and provide the highest levels of product and services, additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of one (1) year experience as an inventory clerk or a similar position in a high-volume industry/environment is required. Intermediate to Advanced level English verbal and writing skills, including the proper use of English grammar is required. Intermediate to Advanced skills in typing and computer software skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Fidelio Cruise, Micros) is required. Basic level of skills using AMOS for Windows is a plus. The incumbent must be able to work in a multi-cultural environment; also, must be able to adjust to changes in schedules, assignments and deadlines.
EDUCATION Highschool diploma or foreign equivalent is required. Position-specific STCW training from an accredited educational institution is required.
