The NYCDOT seeks Assistant Electrical Engineers to join the Traffic Management Center within the Traffic Operations division. The unit operates 24/7, including holidays and weekends. The selected candidate will perform highly technical engineering work, including monitoring and troubleshooting traffic signals, coordinating with maintenance contractors, checking the health of ITS equipment, and managing traffic incidents citywide. The role involves shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays, reporting to the TMC shift supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications
A master's degree can substitute for one year of experience. Degrees in other engineering fields are not acceptable.
