Grace Early Education – Tyler & Lindale Campuses is seeking an Assistant Early Education Teacher for a part-time role (25–27.5 hours/week). Compensation ranges from $12 to $14 per hour, negotiable based on education and experience, located in Tyler, TX.

A high school diploma is required. You will support the Lead Teacher in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons that integrate Christian faith, encouraging spiritual, emotional, social, and academic growth in young children.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• CDA credential preferred.
• Experience with young children is a plus.

You support the Lead Teacher in planning and leading daily activities that promote spiritual, emotional, social, and academic development—helping each child discover the joy of learning and the love of Jesus.

Knowledge and Skills

Understanding of early childhood development and Christian education principles.

Ability to support lesson implementation and classroom management.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

A nurturing, dependable, and joyful presence who loves helping children grow in faith and learning.

Physical Requirements / Work Conditions

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Frequent standing, bending, and interaction at the child’s level.

Work performed in a classroom setting with moderate noise levels and exposure to common childhood illnesses.
