Hours: Full-time (40.00 hours) | Monday-Friday only Compensation: $14 hourly, negotiable based on education and experience

You create a Christ-centered classroom where children are loved, encouraged, and challenged to grow spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually. Through play, movement, music, and biblical lessons, you help children master new skills and develop a lifelong love for Jesus.
Plan and lead engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that integrate biblical truth and encourage curiosity.
Foster a warm, Christ-centered classroom where each child feels known, safe, and valued.
Model Christ-like character and guide children in positive social interactions and emotional growth.
Partner with assistant teachers to maintain a joyful, organized, and safe learning environment.
Observe and document each child’s progress; communicate regularly with parents and administrators.
Ensure classroom activities align with Grace Early Education’s mission and comply with licensing standards.
Participate in staff meetings, chapel, and professional development to grow in faith and teaching excellence.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior experience working with young children in a classroom or childcare setting is a plus.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
Child Development Associate (CDA) or equivalent certification preferred.
Minimum 2 years of classroom experience in early childhood education; leadership experience preferred.
Strong understanding of early childhood development and Christian education principles. Ability to create engaging, hands-on learning experiences that integrate faith and academics.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and classroom leadership skills.
A nurturing spirit, patience, creativity, and a deep love for teaching young children about Jesus.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Frequent standing, bending, and interaction at child’s level.
Work performed in a classroom setting with moderate noise levels and exposure to common childhood illnesses.
