Job summary

Noble Corporation is seeking a Derrickman to support on-going rig operations in the United States, Oklahoma region. You will assist the Driller, monitor rig equipment, and ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards.

The role requires 1+ years of Derrickman experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle drilling duties, maintenance, and housekeeping under supervision. Training completion and safe operation are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of Derrickman experience.
• Completion of all training requirements within designated time period.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in applications and systems required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform all duties assigned by the Driller during drilling, work over and completion operations.
• Under Driller supervision, control drilling operations and respond to formations and problems.
• Change bits, tools, and drill string length as needed.
• Maintain a continuous log of the well’s history and required paperwork.
• Assist the Driller in directing and supervising the drill crew.
• Maintain good housekeeping on the drill floor and equipment maintenance.
• Implement Noble's safety policies and ensure a safe work environment.
• Participate in daily pre-tour and weekly safety meetings and risk assessments.
• Identify hazards and participate in Job Safety Analysis; comply with regulations.
