You will work under a licensed PT, provide treatments, and coordinate patient care with the PT and team. New grads are welcome, with mentorship and professional development supported.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT treatments under licensed PT supervision.
• Identify appropriate patients and coordinate with PT for evaluation/referral.
• Collaborate with team to ensure quality outcomes.
• Maintain documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
• Obtain and update all physician orders.
• Act as lead/mentor in your discipline.
• Possibility to cover rehab supervisor duties in absence.

What You'll Do:

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following state practice guidelines
• Assist in identifying appropriate patients for therapy and coordinate with the PT for evaluation and referral
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality outcomes
• Maintain documentation to meet all regulatory requirements
• Ensure all required physician orders are obtained and up to date
• Act as a leader/mentor in your specific discipline.
• Assume job responsibilities of the rehab supervisor in his/her absence

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current license as Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice
• Strong communication and organizational skills
