Job summary

Tender Touch Rehab Services, part of Enhance Therapies, is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for full-time work in skilled nursing/long-term care settings. You will provide PT services under supervision, help identify suitable patients, coordinate with the PT, and maintain regulatory documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelors is not required; PTA license required in CT.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Assist in identifying suitable patients for therapy and coordinate with PT for evaluation.
• Collaborate with team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
• Ensure physician orders are current and properly obtained.

What You'll Do:

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following state practice guidelines
• Assist in identifying appropriate patients for therapy and coordinate with the PT for evaluation and referral
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality outcomes
• Maintain documentation to meet all regulatory requirements
• Ensure all required physician orders are obtained and up to date

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current license as Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice
• Strong communication and organizational skills
