Responsibilities include evaluating appeals, drafting briefs, and representing the People of New York in litigation. Candidates must have a Juris Doctorate and substantial experience in appellate prosecution.
The District Attorney is seeking an experienced attorney to coordinate and evaluate in-house People’s appeal and Article 78 requests and handle post-conviction litigation, including direct appeals, Article 440 motions, and federal writs of habeas corpus.
