Job summary

TDCAA in Edinburg, TX seeks an Assistant District Attorney to prosecute felony cases and collaborate with law enforcement, victims, and witnesses. The role requires strong trial courtroom experience and excellent legal skills.

You will draft motions, perform research, negotiate plea agreements, and present cases for trial, including jury selection and witness examination. TX license and JD are mandatory.

Qualifications

• JD is required and must be licensed to practice law in Texas.
• Strong trial courtroom experience in criminal law is essential.
• Excellent litigation, negotiation, and case preparation skills are expected.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain professionalism.
• Strong legal writing, communication, and research abilities.
