JOB DESCRIPTION

The District Attorney’s Office for the Sixth Prosecutorial District is seeking resumes for the position of Assistant District Attorney. The open positions are located in the Chickasha, Grady County Office or the Anadarko, Caddo County Office and will allow the successful candidate the opportunity to prosecute a wide range of criminal offenses, to include: drug crimes, violent crimes of all types, and homicide cases. The Office takes an aggressive approach to prosecution and the protection of our community.

The successful candidate can expect to be challenged daily by advocating on behalf of some of the most vulnerable people in our communities, our children, elderly, and other victims of crime. By advocating on behalf of those who have no voice, one can expect to find fulfillment in their work and an opportunity to see rewarding outcomes in their professional career.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Preference is given to an attorney with five (5) years or more prosecution experience, to include appearing as lead counsel in multiple jury trials.

However, a lack of prosecution experience will not disqualify one from consideration, all experience levels are welcome to apply.
