Hourly Rate: $18.50

Responsibilities

We are seeking an Assistant Dispatcher to join our high-energy, fun, and fast-paced environment. The Assistant Dispatcher will help schedule driver routes and ensure on-time, accurate deliveries. We want dynamic, career-oriented individuals committed to this role.

• Use dispatch software to track orders from stores and assign routes to drivers
• Support the Lead Dispatcher in ensuring drivers collect payments and update delivery times on bills
• Coordinate with Parts Pullers to ensure correct deliveries
• Work with drivers to verify they know their routes
• Communicate with customers over the phone to update order statuses
• Assist drivers with route or job difficulties
• Maintain good customer relations
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Promote workplace safety
• Secure and transfer cash or assets as needed

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience as an assistant dispatcher or dispatcher
• Extensive knowledge of area roads
• Experience managing multiple drivers
• Prior experience in an auto parts store is preferred
