Hourly Rate: $18.50

Responsibilities

We are seeking an Assistant Dispatcher to join our dynamic and fast-paced work environment. The Assistant Dispatcher will assist in scheduling driver routes and ensuring timely, accurate deliveries. We want energetic, career-oriented individuals committed to excellence.

• Use dispatch software to track orders from other stores and assign routes to drivers
• Support the lead Dispatcher by ensuring driver collections and delivery times are accurately recorded on bills
• Coordinate with Parts Pullers to ensure correct deliveries
• Work with drivers to confirm they know their routes
• Communicate with customers over the phone regarding order statuses
• Assist drivers with route or job-related difficulties
• Maintain good customer relations
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Promote and maintain workplace safety
• Handle and transfer cash or assets securely

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience as an assistant dispatcher or dispatcher
• Strong knowledge of local roads
• Experience managing multiple drivers
• Prior auto parts store experience is preferred
