Job summary

The University of South Carolina seeks an Assistant Director for Visitor Services to oversee weekday campus visits and large admissions events, building strong relationships with campus partners and community stakeholders.

You will supervise the Manager of Visitor Services, coordinate logistics for tours and receptions, and help develop visit strategies aligned with USC's enrollment goals, including evening and weekend commitments.

Qualifications

• Experience in higher education or campus visit programming is preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple events and partnerships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee weekday campus visits and large admissions events, and cultivate campus partner relationships.
• Supervise the Manager of Visitor Services and provide coverage for the Welcome Center.
• Develop visit strategies and assess processes related to visitor reception, staffing, and space utilization.
• Participate in on- and off-campus activities and events as needed.
