The University of South Carolina seeks an Assistant Director for Visitor Services to oversee weekday campus visits and large admissions events, building strong relationships with campus partners and community stakeholders.
You will supervise the Manager of Visitor Services, coordinate logistics for tours and receptions, and help develop visit strategies aligned with USC's enrollment goals, including evening and weekend commitments.

The Assistant Director for Visitor Services is responsible for overseeing campus partner engagement for weekday visits and large-scale admissions events, including developing and sustaining strong relationships with campus partners and key community stakeholders. This position collaborates across campus and with external partners to advance departmental initiatives, support visitor reception efforts, and contribute to departmental assessment activities, with a particular focus on evaluating and strengthening partnerships.
This position contributes to the development of visit strategies that determine the success of USC's enrollment goals. The Assistant Director evaluates visit program logistics and develops, implements, and assesses processes related to visitor reception, customer service, student staffing, visitor engagement, and space functionality.
The Assistant Director supervises the Manager of Visitor Services and provides backup coverage and support for the Welcome Center. This position will work with campus and community partners to support this effort.
This position contributes to the development of visit strategies that determine the success of USC's enrollment goals. The Assistant Director is also expected to periodically participate in various on and off-campus activities and events.
