Job summary

Friendship Place is seeking an Assistant Director for Outreach, Housing Navigation, and Shallow Subsidy in Washington, DC. The hybrid role leads Veterans Services, supervising Project Coordinators and supporting case managers to empower low-income veteran families toward stable housing.

The position requires strong leadership, grant compliance expertise, and collaboration with CoCs, government partners, and external agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field preferred.
• Two years of experience in a similar setting required.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Project Coordinators in monthly one-on-one supervision.
• Provide Quality Assurance and monitoring of grants and budgets.
• Collaborate with external agencies and CoCs in the service area.
• Ensure CARF standards are met and staff follow policies.
