Job summary

Recovery Monitoring Solutions is seeking an Assistant Director of Treatment and Education to oversee and develop the organization’s clinical program, evaluating, scheduling, and supervising staff.

The role supports a hybrid work arrangement with in-office presence three days weekly, and involves coordination with external agencies for compliance and program quality. A Texas LCDC license and leadership experience are required.

Qualifications

• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Stable work history in counseling or criminal justice preferred.
• Two or more years of lead counselor or clinical supervision experience.
• Associate’s degree in applied science, science, criminal justice, social work, behavioral science or a closely related field preferred.
• Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in the State of Texas.
• Negative drug screen and clean background.

Responsibilities

Assistant Director of Treatment and Education

Recovery Monitoring Solutions is a leading provider of treatment and offender monitoring services, with corporate offices in Dallas, TX.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for assisting the Director of Treatment and Education in overseeing and developing the organization’s clinical program through tasks such as evaluating, scheduling and supervision clinical staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Maintain a hybrid schedule making sure to be in the office three days a week unless for personal time off.
• Maintain a modified counseling caseload.
• Communicate clients’ progress by participating in interdisciplinary meetings and evaluations.
• Ensure staff perform within company policy, procedure and state rules and regulations for treatment program appointments, groups and/or classes standards, documentation, client files as the program is designed and in an ethically appropriate manner.
• Assist with quality assurance duties to coordinate and enforce federal, state and local regulatory compliance.
• Assist with evaluations for counselor interns by observing group sessions, completing evaluation forms, signing counselor intern paperwork for improvement to counselor and Director.
• Assist with coordination of requirements for outside agencies including Pre-trial, parole, probation.
• Perform educational class as needed and required by company.
• Create and maintain accurate records and reports.
• Perform any overflow counseling duties when required due to changes in and with staff.
