Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, NY is recruiting an Assistant Director, School of Health, Wellness & Human Services to foster student success through outreach, engagement, and delivery of student support services.

The role emphasizes intrusive intervention, case management, and co-creation of programs to promote retention, completion, and student belonging, working closely with faculty, staff, and community partners.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited college, university or foreign equivalency and one year of relevant professional experience working with and/or mentoring college students (preferably at the community college level).
• Direct experience working with diverse populations, including those who are educationally and economically disadvantaged.

Responsabilités

• Serve as success navigator to an identified cohort of students, focusing consistent outreach, engagement, and delivery of student support services.
• Utilize Lazer Success (Starfish) and other related systems to monitor student success. Develop and implement intervention plans to address early alert concerns/referrals.
• Meet with students on a regular basis to develop and review individualized success plans.
