Position Title: Assistant Director - Student Services and Enrollment
Position Type: Fixed Term
Hiring Range: $29.57 - $33.94/hour; compensation based on education, experience, skills, and internal equity.
Pay Frequency: Hourly
The Assistant Director works with the Santa Clara Online team, reporting to the Director of Student Services. Responsibilities include overseeing engagement activities, supporting student retention through academic advising, implementing policies, and coordinating student services and events. The role also involves communication with prospective students, nurturing relationships, and supporting recruitment and admissions processes. The start date is July 1, 2025, or later.
This position provides work direction to 1-2 student employees and reports to the Director of Student Services.
Requires a Bachelor's Degree (Master’s preferred), 0-3 years of relevant experience, and ability to work cooperatively in a diverse environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Apps, and online learning systems is preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Primarily desk work, some travel, evening/weekend hours, and a typical office setting with flexible remote work options.
