The Assistant Director, Education and Dialogue in Student Diversity & Inclusion (SDI) is a member of the Division of Student Life team and serves as the primary lead for educational programming for students. The position of Assistant Director is to advance student learning, growth, and the application of belonging and inclusion. The Assistant Director will be responsible for designing and implementing educational workshops, trainings, and dialogues concerning student learning about intercultural engagement, belonging, and inclusion. In partnership with the functions of the Center for Intercultural Engagement, the Assistant Director will further an inclusive and welcoming environment for all students.
The Assistant Director will also work in close partnership with campus stakeholders to implement the mission, vision, and goals of the Division of Student Life and University to create a welcoming and engaging environment for all students, as well as providing educational opportunities and resources to advance student learning and intercultural engagement. Reporting to the Director of SDI, the Assistant Director serves as an active member of the Student Diversity & Inclusion unit.
