Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks an Admissions professional to guide prospective students through the application process, confirming the right program fit and coordinating with faculty as needed.

You will manage inquiries, drive yield through direct guidance, and staff events/webinars to support enrollment goals across multiple programs.

  • Address applicant questions to support yield and enrollment goals.
  • Organize outreach events, campus tours, and information sessions (virtual and in person).
  • Maintain accurate applicant records and contribute to enrollment reporting and forecasting.

Job Summary

Assist prospective students through the application process,confirming they are applying to the right program for them.Directly answer prospective student questions, with faculty supportonly where appropriate. Identify and follow through on stalledapplications. Congratulate acceptances and work to get to depositby answering questions and/or directing questions to programleadership only where appropriate. Staff programmaticevents/webinars or grouped programmatic public speakingevents.

Essential Functions (Key Roles & Responsibilities):
  • Manage all admissions-related advising through email, meetingsand by phone focusing on the application submit through finalenrollment stage of the funnel (including acceptance anddeposit).
  • Cultivate and build relationships with prospective studentsthrough counseling and provide a high-level of customerservice.
  • Establish linkages between inquiries and applicants to academicdepartments, admissions staff, and other IHP departments whenappropriate and based on programmatic frameworks.
  • Problem-solve all student-specific issues related to theapplication process, focusing on accepted student questionsdirectly impacting yield rate.
  • Organizes and participates in outreach events, campus tours,and information sessions (virtual and in person) to support theenrollment funnel.
  • Responsible for direct student recruitment and yield activitiesto support enrollment goals and growth while aligning with acentralized admissions model
  • Meets or exceeds KPIs as outlined below and weekly productivitymetrics as determined by admissions leadership and SLAs, updatedannually.
  • Staff programmatic events/webinars or grouped programmaticpublic speaking and student recruitment events.
  • Consistently meet or exceed student satisfaction and customerservice measures.
  • Maintain accurate applicant records within admissions and CRMsystems, monitor recruitment metrics, and contribute to enrollmentreporting, forecasting, and continuous process improvementinitiatives.

    • Application Completion Rate
    • Accept to deposit rate (Yield)
    • Event Metrics: Attendance and event intended outcomes(application completion, or yield rate)
    • Meet or Exceed Enrollment goals for designated programs
Qualifications (degree, work experience)

Bachelor’s Degree Required, high education administrationpreferred.

3-5 years of experience in student admissions or academicadministration.

This role requires regular travel to recruitment events and partnerlocations. Candidates must have reliable transportation and be ableto travel independently throughout the assigned territory.
