The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) is seeking an Assistant Director - Student Activities to lead student programming for a dynamic campus community in Hyde Park, NY. You will advise S.P.I.C.E., develop events, manage staff, and coordinate with multiple departments to deliver engaging student experiences.

This role requires strong leadership, planning, and communication skills, with availability for nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Higher Education Administration or related field.
• Bachelor's Degree with at least two years of related professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Advise and support the Student Programming Board (S.P.I.C.E.).
• Create and implement a calendar of events for an inclusive campus environment.
• Supervise student programming staff including recruitment, training, and development.
• Coordinate with vendors for on-campus events.
• Plan and organize off-campus student trips.
• Oversee Cook-Offs planning with Academic Affairs and Student Engagement.
• Manage budgets for large-scale programs and Cook-Offs.
• Collaborate with Development & Alumni Relations to secure donated products.
• Collect data from events to inform future decisions.
• Lead weekly meetings with S.P.I.C.E. and staff.
• Support late-night/weekend programming in The Egg dining facility.
• Assist with Campus Life and Student Recreation Center oversight.
• Support School and Department programs as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
