University of California, Santa Cruz is seeking an Assistant Director of Strategic Programs to lead division-wide undergraduate programming in the Humanities. This role focuses on retention, career readiness, and collaborative initiatives with campus partners to connect students with industry and alumni.

The position offers a full benefits package and is primarily on campus with potential remote work, overseeing HumLaunch and related initiatives to support humanities majors and minors through

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent recommended.
Experience in higher education program development and career readiness.
Ability to analyze engagement data and report findings.

Responsabilités

Develop programming to support Humanities major and minor retention.
Deliver HumLaunch shadowing and mentorship program for early-career students.
Collaborate with Career Success and IRAPS to collect data for planning.
Create educational materials to articulate value of humanities training in careers.
Design and deliver e-learning content and blended learning resources.
Analyze participation data and prepare quarterly/annual reports.
