Miami-Dade County's Strategic Procurement Department seeks an Assistant Department Director, Strategic Procurement to lead competitive sourcing and contracting efforts. You will manage ITBs, RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and RTQs and supervise professional staff.

Reporting to the Director/Chief Procurement Officer, you will work with County officials, assist the County Attorney, and present to the Board of County Commissioners. A Master's degree and ISM/UPPCC certification are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• At least six years of procurement experience in government with management/supervisory duties.
• ISM or UPPCC certification highly preferred.
• Master's degree preferred.

Aufgaben

• Oversee competitive sourcing activities (ITB, RFP, RFQ, RFI, RTQ) for goods and services.
• Supervise professional staff and coordinate with County officials.
• Consult with County Attorney and present information to the Board of County Commissioners.
• Apply risk/value assessments to sourcing strategies.
• Develop policies and procedures for various acquisition types, including concessions and pilots.
• Aim to improve procurement processing cycle times.
