We are seeking a Assistant Director, SLATE Specialist for a role in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions will be responsible for recruiting and conducting application review from a specified regional territory for the first year and transfer admission to the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences and the Whiting School of Engineering. In this role, the Assistant Director serves as a public-facing ambassador for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Johns Hopkins University. The position will involve in-person and virtual recruitment and requires about four weeks of off-campus travel a year. Some evening/weekend work is required.
In addition to the core responsibilities of an Assistant Director, this person will serve as a member of the SLATE team. As part of this team, they will contribute to establishing best practices within our CRM, while supporting production of analysis and tools for various projects across the office. They will also be responsible for supporting roles in larger projects that work toward office priorities and goals.

The pre-employment physical for positions in clinical areas, laboratories, working with research subjects, or involving community contact requires documentation of immune status against Rubella (German measles), Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Varicella (chickenpox), Hepatitis B and documentation of having received the Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) vaccination. This may include documentation of having two (2) MMR vaccines; two (2) Varicella vaccines; or antibody status to these diseases from laboratory testing. Blood tests for immunities to these diseases are ordinarily included in the pre-employment physical exam except for those employees who provide results of blood tests or immunization documentation from their own health care providers. Any vaccinations required for these diseases will be given at no cost in our Occupational Health office.
