Job summary

Boston College seeks an Assistant Director, Benefactor Events to lead the strategy and oversight of signature fundraising events, including Pops on the Heights and the Wall Street Business Leadership Council Tribute Dinner, raising millions annually and engaging alumni, parents, and friends.

The role manages ticket sales, coordinates with Advancement offices, and may cultivate a portfolio of young alumni in the New York City area, with rolling applications and a salary range commensurate with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2-3 years of increasingly responsible administrative experience.
• Working knowledge of Windows PC with Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Suite.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to detail and discretion regarding confidential data.

Responsibilities

• Assist in strategy and oversight of signature fundraising events (Pops on the Heights and Wall Street Dinner).
• Direct responsibility for individual ticket sales for both events.
• Coordinate fundraising operations in partnership with Gift Management and Advancement offices.
• Manage a portfolio of young alumni in NYC to cultivate relationships and philanthropic support.
• Collaborate with Communications, Marketing, Alumni Relations, and Gift Processing to meet fundraising goals.
