Job summary

Jefferson County Public Schools is seeking an Assistant Director of School Psychological Services to provide leadership and strategic direction for district psychoeducational and behavioral services. The role oversees the Diagnostic Center, BCBA training, and regulatory compliance across programs.

Qualifications

• Administrative certification required.
• EPSB Standard Certification for School Psychologist.
• Master's degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Minimum five (5) years as a practicing School Psychologist with psychoeducational evaluations.
• Minimum three (3) years in leadership, supervision, or program coordination.
• Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, KAR, Child Find, due process, and compliance.
• Experience using data to inform decisions and improve outcomes.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise district school psychological, behavioral support, and diagnostic center services.
• Ensure high-quality psychoeducational, behavioral, and mental health services and regulatory compliance.
• Provide leadership for BCBA training, professional development, and evidence-based practices.
• Oversee documentation quality and compliance across psychological and behavioral services.
