Job summary

The Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta (MJCCA) seeks an Assistant Director of Pickleball to help operate a 15-court facility, design programs, coach classes, and drive member engagement. You will lead clinics, run leagues, supervise events, and promote a welcoming pickleball community.

The role requires teaching enthusiasm, knowledge of techniques, and the ability to work with players of all levels. Flexible schedule, with mornings, evenings, and weekends depending on programming.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of pickleball rules, skills, and strategies.
• Experience teaching players of varying skill levels.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and run clinics, leagues, and events.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinics, drills, ladders, and classes for adults and youth.
• Develop leagues, tournaments, and social programming.
• Be present during open play to engage participants and recruit.
• Provide excellent customer service and program guidance.
• Identify suitable programs for different skill levels and goals.
• Support growth of pickleball participation and retention.
• Assist with social media and app program updates.
• Communicate schedules clearly with members and staff.
• Assist with court setup, equipment, and prep as needed.
• Monitor safety and enforce facility policies consistently.
