Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible operational and management experience in a health care setting.
• Master’s degree may substitute for work experience.
• Knowledge of business operations and proficiency with project management and performance improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
• Support development and execution of the hospital’s operating plan, particularly QAPI plans.
• Engage staff and leaders to deploy operating and QAPI plans and track outcomes.
• Support the senior director in leading the hospital Patient Safety and Quality team.
• Develop and execute strategies that drive continuous quality improvement and organizational performance.
• Identify and implement industry best practices to enhance quality, safety, and operational effectiveness.
• Supervise and mentor the Patient Safety and Quality team.
• Collaborate with the Performance Excellence team to support enterprise-wide improvement efforts.
• Lead and support cross-functional quality improvement projects with resources for success.
• Monitor project progress, track performance metrics, and report outcomes to leadership.
• Communicate progress and recognize team achievements.
• Develop and deliver education and training to build process improvement capabilities.
