Houston Physicians’ Hospital is seeking an Assistant Director of Therapy Services (PT, OT, SLP) to oversee and coordinate rehabilitation programs across hospital and outpatient clinics. The role reports to the Director of Therapy Services and requires leadership of therapy staff and clinic managers.

Qualified candidates will hold a Texas therapy license, have 3+ years clinical practice and 1–2 years supervisory experience, and be prepared to travel among site locations.

Qualifications

• Current Texas license to practice Physical, Occupational, or Speech Therapy.
• 3 years of relevant clinical practice; 1–2 years of supervisory/management experience.
• Experience coordinating multi-site therapy operations preferred.
• Familiarity with hospital/outpatient therapy billing, collections, and compliance.
• Ability to travel between clinic locations as needed.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Therapy Services in leadership, coordination, and daily operations across Memorial Hermann Houston Physicians' Hospital and affiliated clinics.
• Oversee day-to-day clinical operations, staff supervision, and site-level performance.
• Help execute departmental strategy and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining high patient care standards.
• Act on behalf of the Director as needed and provide direct leadership to clinic managers and staff.

The Assistant Director of Therapy Services supports the Director of Therapy Services in the leadership, coordination, and daily operational management of rehabilitation programs across Memorial Hermann Houston Physicians' Hospital and affiliated outpatient clinics. This role serves as a key partner to the Director, overseeing day-to-day clinical operations, staff supervision, and site-level performance while helping to execute departmental strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain high standards of patient care. The Assistant Director acts on behalf of the Director as needed and provides direct leadership to clinic managers and therapy staff.

Qualifications:

• A current license to practice Physical, Occupational, or Speech Therapy in the state of Texas
• Minimum 3 years of relevant clinical practice experience and at least 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience supporting or coordinating multi-site therapy operations preferred.
• Familiarity with hospital or outpatient therapy billing, collections, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to travel between clinic locations as needed.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and standard internet/web applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid analytical, interpersonal, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
