What will I be doing?

  1. Assist the Director in administering all Safety and Security operations and functions, including but not limited to, preserving the safety and security of guests, team members, and the facility; promoting safe work practices; ensuring OSHA compliance; managing safety incentive programs; conducting training; overseeing systems management; handling lost and found; managing budget and forecasting; department management; and participating in meetings.
  2. Assist in directing and conducting patrols of the interior and perimeter of the hotel and property to identify potential safety and security risks and undesirable conditions.
  3. Assist in leading investigations of accidents, thefts, property loss, and unlawful activities.
  4. Assist in responding to emergency situations, including safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies, and threats to life and/or property.
  5. Assist in coordinating safety training, including CPR, fire and life safety systems, workplace violence prevention, limo driver training, etc.
  6. Serve as liaison with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies.
  7. Prepare and assist in the administration of all required reports and documentation accurately.
  8. Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly, friendly, and efficiently.
  9. Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance, including supervision, scheduling, counseling, evaluations, professional development, and recognition.
  10. Recruit, interview, and train team members.
