What will I be doing?

  1. Assist the Director in administering all Safety and Security operations and functions to include, but not limited to, preserving the safety and security of the guests, team members, and the facility, promoting safe work practices, OSHA compliance, safety incentive programs, training, systems management, lost and found, budget and forecasting, department management, and meeting participation and facilitation.
  2. Assist in directing and administering patrols of the interior and perimeter of the hotel and property to observe and identify potential safety and security risks and undesirable conditions.
  3. Assist in leading investigations of accidents, thefts, property loss, and unlawful activities.
  4. Assist in responding to emergency situations including safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies, and threats to life and/or property.
  5. Assist in coordinating all safety training, including CPR, fire and life safety systems, workplace violence prevention, limo driver training, etc.
  6. Serve as liaison with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies.
  7. Write and assist in the administration and accuracy of all required reports and documentation.
  8. Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
  9. Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance, including supervision, scheduling, counseling, evaluations, professional development, and recognition.
  10. Recruit, interview, and train team members.
