This position oversees critical financial aid operations and compliance, managing annual updates and form creation in Ellucian Student Forms, developing Verification policy, and directing federal, state, and institutional processing for loans, R2T4, withdrawals, and VA benefits. The incumbent conducts monthly program audits and collaborates with the Assistant Director and counseling team to optimize the UCR Banner system. Serving as a primary campus resource, they deliver financial aid presentations to diverse audiences, provide empathetic guidance and tailored solutions to students from disadvantaged backgrounds, manage complex eligibility correspondence, and execute special assignments as directed by financial aid leadership. The salary range for this position is $78,200.00 - $137,300.00 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $94,000.00 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.

Provides direct supervision typically to professionals or skilled technical employees. Functions as advisor to unit and administration. Analyzes and resolves problems, interprets policies (e.g., fiscal management, HR, contracts and grants, resource management in defined areas) and demonstrates solid subject matter knowledge.
