Job summary

Commonwealth Health Regional Hospital of Scranton is seeking an Assistant Director of Pharmacy who will oversee both inpatient and outpatient pharmacies and an ambulatory anticoagulation clinic. This role reports to the Director of Pharmacy and leads pharmacy staff across departments.

Ideal candidates hold PA licensure, have 340b experience, and demonstrated managerial skills with strong communication, organization, and technology know-how to advance patient care and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist in Pennsylvania (PA) per state requirements.
• 340b experience preferred.
• Managerial experience preferred in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of pharmacy software and technology.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

The Assistant Director of Pharmacy reports to the Director of Pharmacy and manages the pharmacy staff and collaborates with leaders across multiple departments.
