Job Overview

The Assistant Director of Patient Care will oversee and delegate the daily operations of an Oncology unit, fostering a positive work environment. They will address complex patient needs and ensure efficient workflow within the unit.

Required Qualifications

• Experienced RN with Charge Nurse or Nurse Manager experience
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider card or willingness to complete within 6 months
• Oncology experience
• Active RN license in New Jersey
• BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Essential Duties

• Assist Nursing Director with unit operations and support the nursing team
• Supervise and evaluate patient care during shifts, including clinical documentation audits, patient rounding, and care coordination

Scheduling

• 36 hours per week, dayshift
• Weekend shifts may be required
