Job summary

Diversicare is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to join our nursing leadership team at our Wichita-area centers. You will help supervise staff, participate in orientation, and support care planning and quality improvement initiatives.

You will interview applicants, assist with scheduling, and ensure regulatory compliance and proper documentation. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, with LTC/SNF experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensed by State Board of Nursing
• 3+ years nursing experience and 1+ year supervisory experience
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• LTC/SNF experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Interview applicants and assist with scheduling

• Participate in performance reviews and enforce policies

Responsibilities

As our Assistant Director of Nursing, you will play a vital role in our nursing department's management. You will assist in interviewing applicants, scheduling, and participate in orientation and in-service education training. You will also participate in performance reviews, enforce personnel policies, and ensure compliance with regulations for documentation from physicians and nursing personnel. You will be responsible for assisting with care planning, Continuous Quality Improvement, and ensuring proper infection control techniques are utilized.

Qualifications

We are looking for an RN with a current license by State Board of Nursing and at least three years of nursing experience and one year of supervisory experience. You must have excellent organizational and planning skills, the ability to coordinate with other departments, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. LTC/SNF experience is strongly preferred
