Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of Hartford Rehab & Wellness Center is a 110-bed facility offering short-term rehabilitation and long-term care, committed to resident-centered care and quality life initiatives. The Assistant Director of Nursing will oversee administrative and program areas within the Nursing Department, supporting the DON to ensure compliant, high-quality care.

The role requires an active RN license, at least three years of nursing experience, and preferred management experience.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of three (3) years nursing experience.
• One (1) to two (2) years management/supervisory experience preferred.
• Must have a current/active CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage administrative and functional areas or programs within the Nursing Department.
• Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in overall operation of the department in accordance with Company policies and standards of nursing practices and government regulations.
• Delegate to the Charge Nurses and Nurse Supervisors the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary to perform their assigned duties.

The ideal Assistant Director of Nursing Candidate is very detailed orientated, organized, great knowledge of policies and governmental regulations.
